FOOD TECH YUM :)

For the past week I have been at food Tech.

On the first day friend and I made Jam Tarts they tasted so good I had to make them at home they were delicious.

The second day we made Banana Choc Chip Muffins they were full of flavour also perfectly rounded at the top that means that they weren't over mixed, they were the fluffiest muffins i'v ever tasted.

On the third day we made Self Crusting Quiche they were devine I even made them for my family for dinner they said that they were very impressed by how much they toughed us in the first 3 days.

On the fourth and final day we got to make one of the dishes that we made but me had to recreate it and change it, so like if you did the Self Crusting Quiche you could and more bacon or less vegetables, if you did the muffins you could put more banana in or more choc chips, and if you did the Strawberry Jam tarts you could add choc chips in the sweet pastry or  put a different jam in the tarts.

My home work challenges

CHALLENGE #1: Walk or run around the Waikareao Estuary (or another negotiated walkway
on this site:) four times with a family member

1.  I have run and walked the estuary 4 times with my dad
Mum- Jessie has completed this task

CHALLENGE #2: Give to families in need: In groups of 5 find a way to help those in need
(food/goods collection for Salvation Army, SPCA, Food Bank etc)


2.  I have given clothes to the salvation army



I have given tins of food to the food bank
I have given clothes to Child Cancer Foundtion

CHALLENGE #3: Join the production, choir, a band or Kapa Haka participating in all
rehearsals and performances for the year

3. I got in the production and also the choir


CHALLENGE #4: Compete in a sport for an entire season
4. I competed tennis in the summer sport season


CHALLENGE #5: Give to your family: Prepare 3 formal three course meals, including the
menu, cooking and presenting, photographs of the meal and feedback from
your guests.

For my first menu I cooked for my Dad
entree: Pumpkin soup

main: spaghetti bolognese
dessert: dark chocolate mousse

My awesome holiday at the movies

In the holidays my brother and I went to the Mount Movies the movies we saw Identity Thief, Iron Man 3, The Croods, GI jo, scary movie 5,  and escape from planet earth.

My brother and I got a bit sick of it but we had to go because our mum was working so thats why we had to go we saw Identity Thief first
