Miss C has asked our class to make a conversation of what she is going to have with the doctor. The eye problem is called Subconjunctival Hemorrage.
Miss C. Hi their Dr Mike I have an eye problem, it's on the right.
Dr Mike : Ah yes can you move your eye to the right for me so I can take a look, This is called Subconjunctival Hemorrhage The cause of subconjunctival hemorrhage isn't always known. However, the following actions may cause a small blood vessel to rupture in your eye like:
Violent coughing.Powerful sneezing.
Heavy lifting.
Vomiting.
but some cases, subconjunctival hemorrhage may result from an eye injury, such as:
Roughly rubbing your eye. Severe eye infection.
Trauma, such as a foreign object injuring your eye.
Miss C: Good to know, is there a treatment for this?
Dr Mike: No their is know treatment for this but you won't be harmed.
Miss C: Ok when will it go away?
Dr Mike: it will go away in several weeks or so.
Miss C: Will I have to do anything?
Dr Mike: No you can live your normal life but just don't rub you eye for 7-8 eght days just to be safe.
Miss C. Thank you for helping me you been great.
Dr Mike: Thats fine have a nice day se ya.
